History
1960
LØKKE was founded in 1960 by Jens Chr. Løkke under the name Løkkes Maskinfabrik.
At his farm “Trøjborg” he established his own small wagon drying, so he could dry his own grain. It was a great advantage to be able to dry his own grain, and it did not take long before other farmers also became interested in drying grain and Jens Chr. Løkkes small wagon drying. He therefore established a small production so that other farmers could benefit from it.
In 1966, agriculture was sold, and Jens Chr. Løkke now concentrated exclusively on the production and sale of mainly in-store drying to Danish farmers.
To make more room for production, he moved to another property, and production was put more into system, and the first employee was hired. The place quickly became too cramped again, and in 1971 he bought the disused dairy in Bøvlingbjerg. The dairy was converted into a machine factory, and it was later expanded several times.
Both sons grew up in the factory, and in 1984 a generational change was carried out, where Lars Peder and Frits Günther Løkke took over the factory.
At that time, there were 6 employees at the factory. It further accelerated the development and expansions of the factory. In 1991, the first production hall in the industrial district was built.
It was now clear that any self-respecting farmer had to have an in-store drying facility for drying their crops.
2005
In 2005, Lars Peder Løkke left the company and sold his half to Frits Günther Løkke. At the same time, the entire factory moved to the same location and a new administration building was built.
The factory has since been expanded a few times, so that today there are approx. 16,000 m2 factory area and administration building.
LØKKE currently produces in-store drying for agriculture and industry. It is exported to approx. 20 different countries. Currently there are approx. 50 employees at the factory in Bøvlingbjerg and another 2 employees in the German subsidiary LM Getreidetechnik.
In addition to producing parts for grain drying, LØKKE also offers subcontractor work to other companies. Our factory has some of the most modern production equipment, and we can therefore offer fabrication of metal parts at very competitive prices.
