Vertical Trapezoid Walls

It can be easily installed in both existing and new buildings. Since the system is self-supporting, ie. that all the compressive forces are absorbed by the silo itself, there are no requirements for the buildings’ ability to withstand pressure.

Height: From 2.0-5.75 meters.

A steel silo from LØKKE is braced at the top with horizontal braces in wire steel or with cast-in posts every three meters. At the bottom, the stability is ensured by attached bottom rails. The bottom of the silo is therefore completely flat and without stiffeners, which can interfere with the handling of the crops. Filling and emptying takes place without any problems.

The trapezoidal walls can be mounted as interior walls in existing buildings that are not already dimensioned for grain pressure. Alternatively, the trapezoidal walls can be mounted as exterior walls. The exterior walls are powder coated in a color as desired, so that they fit harmoniously with the farm’s existing buildings.
